Garnstudio släppte ju nyligen ett nytt garn - Nepal som visades sig vara en mycket trevlig bekantskap. I synnerhet som det gav mig anledning att gräva fram mönstret till den här tröjan som publicerades i interweave knits hösten 2007. Eftersom jag verkar vara fullständigt oförmögen att följa andras mönster så räknade jag om det lite så att tröjan skulle få lite bättre passform. Skall jag vara petig så plockade jag också bort dom 2 yttersta diagrammen från min tröja eftersom det inte fanns plats för dom. Istället fortsatte jag sticka resåren hela vägen upp till armhålan. Baksidan består av ren slätstickning bortsett från dom första och sista 11 maskorna som också stickades i resår hela vägen upp till armhålan. Jag gjorde också om urringningen lite, så att den följde kablarna.
På det hela taget så var det en tämligen enkel och okomplicerad stickning, som ser mera komplicerad ut än vad den är.
Garnstudio recently started selling a new yarn - Nepal which turned out to be a very nice acquaintance. Especially as i gave me an opportunity to finally dig out the pattern to this sweater, which was published in the Fall issue of Interweave Knits 2007. Being unable to follow someone else's pattern, I did some calculations in order to make it fit me, and to make it a little more shapely. This meant that I also had to remove 2 of the outer charts as there wasn't any room for them. Instead I followed the pattern from the ribbing on the sides up to where the decreases for the armhole started. The back is knitted in stockinette stitches except from the first and last 11 stitches, in which I kept knitting the pattern from the ribbing up to where the armhole started. I also lowered the neckline in the front in order to follow the flow of the cables.
In total, this turned out to be a simple and uncomplicated knitting, looking far more difficult than it really turned out to be.
